This year, parallel with the Lions Festival, the Extraordinary Convention of the 121st District Poland also takes place. We invite all Lions Club members to participate in the Convention and accompanying events, including Get Together Party!

Lions World Song Festival "Sounds from the Heart" is a unique project on a global scale initiated by 4 Krakow Lions clubs. During two elimination concerts, 10 vocalists will be selected to perform with the Sinfonietta Cracovia Symphony Orchestra at a Gala Concert at the J. Słowacki Theatre. The elimination concerts take place in the concert studio of Radio Kraków.

Salt Mine in Wieliczka

Departure from Krakow: 9:00 a.m.
Time of sightseeing: 4-5 hours
Price: 170 PLN/person

Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of the oldest salt mines in Europe, owes its fame especially to the underground, salt Chapel of St. Kinga. In 1978 the whole complex was inscribed on the first UNESCO World Heritage List. The Wieliczka Salt Mine attracts millions of tourists from all over the world every year.

Special dinner with an exquisite menu for guests of Lions Convention and Lions World Song Festival for the Blind "Sound from the Heart". Centrum Matierz Polonii is a unique place of numerous events and family meetings located in Wola Więcławska near Kraków.

A symbol of the Holocaust and a place for reflection. Founded in 1940 as a camp for Polish political prisoners of war, Auschwitz became the center of the extermination of European Jews in 1942. Between 1940 and 1945, the Nazis killed around 1.5 million people here, mainly Jews, but also Poles, Gypsies, Russians, war prisoners and members of other nationalities. All over the world, Auschwitz has become synonymous with terror and genocide.

Meeting with a licensed guide and walking tour in the Polish language of the Old Town inscribed on the First UNESCO World Heritage List. Walk along the Royal Route - Barbican, Old Walls with Florian Gate, Main Market Square, Cloth Hall, St. Mary's Church, Town Hall Tower. Passage to the National Museum - entrance to the exhibition where one of the most important paintings in the Polish collection is exhibited - "Lady with an Ermine" by Leonardo da Vinci.

4th Lions World Song Festival for the Blind Gala Concert

5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. J. Słowacki Theatre

Final concert closing the fourth edition of Lions World Song Festival for the Blind "Sounds from the Heart". The 10 best vocalists selected by the international jury will perform their songs accompanied by the Sinfonietta Cracovia Symphony Orchestra. Exceptional arrangements will be prepared by Hadrian Tabęcki. The concert will take place in one of the most beautiful theatres in Europe - the J. Słowacki Theatre.

After the concert, the participants will be transferred to the Finalists Banquet at the Galaxy Hotel.
